The Thackersey Foundation is dedicated to creating meaningful social impact through initiatives in Art & Culture, Animal Welfare, Senior Citizen Welfare, Women Empowerment, Child Education & Skill Enhancement, and Environmental Sustainability. By collaborating with leading NGOs, educational institutions, and community organizations, we strive to build an inclusive society where compassion, opportunity, dignity, and sustainable development go hand in hand.

Ongoing Projects
Our projects are driven by compassion, collaboration, and a commitment to creating lasting social impact across education, women empowerment, animal welfare, healthcare, senior citizen welfare, environmental sustainability, and the arts.
We have facilitated a recreational centre that support senior citizens. The centre is based in our space in Mahalaxmi , Mumbai.

Activities at the centre include

Indoor games like carrom , cards etc and ones that improve the cognitive and motor skills among senior citizens.

Contests as well as visits to nearby attractions
We started an animal hospital in Valsad, Gujarat called Paw garage that provides medical care to community dogs who could not be treated on an outpatient basis
Between Killa-Pardi and Kaprada, we observed that though out-patient facilities were available to animals, the entire district did not have any in-patient facilities, making it impossible for animals to get long term medical and post operative care.

The centre follows the Rescue Rehab and Release model of care whereby once the animal has recovered it is released back to the area it has been found in.
In collaboration with RESQ Charitable Trust, we conduct school awareness programs that inspire responsible pet ownership, environmental stewardship, and compassionate coexistence between people and animals.

Thackersey Foundation partners with the Kochi Biennale Foundation, organisers of South Asia's largest contemporary art event. The 6th edition, 'For the Time Being,' runs 12 Dec 2025–31 Mar 2026 in Kochi, curated by Nikhil Chopra with HH Art Spaces.
